About Freemasonry

Freemasonry is a fraternity that uses ancient ritual to help men reconnect with moral and social values. It helps men divest themselves of things that hold them back and develop those that can lift them up. Freemasons hold themselves and each other to a standard above the norms of society. Freemasonry focuses on helping the individual become a better man and a better member of society in a social and constructive environment.

Masonry is a way of life. It is a society of friends and brothers banded together – a fraternity open to good men who desire to become better men. It is a voluntary organization that does not solicit membership. It is not a secret society but utilizes secret ritual for its work. It has no secret aims or objectives and its members do not hide the fact that they are members. It is neither a church nor a religion; and is not a substitute for religion or personal spirituality. Freemasonry requires that its members and its candidates believe in deity.

Freemasonry is for the kind of man who wants to improve himself, wants to lead by example, and wants to leave a legacy of excellence. Those who are interested must take the first step. Are you willing to be a better man tomorrow than you are today?
